Katelyn Grady and Jenny Miller founded The Body Electric Yoga Company in St. Petersburg, FL in 2013. The studio was built inside an old ice house and is known for its physical beauty, welcoming culture, and come-as-you-are vibe. The BE hosts internationally-known instructors, and serves thousands of students every week in more than 60 classes. In addition to the regular schedule, their variety of offerings include paddleboard yoga, nude yoga, a book club, a service organization, and workshops and offsite events too numerous to list.
Katelyn grew up near Philly, studied religion in college and in India, and landed for a time in San Diego, where her love of outdoor pursuits first took hold. Rock climbing and paddling outrigger canoes are her current passions, but she's down for pretty much anything. Jenny is from Columbus, Ohio. She lived off the grid in Washington State, and then worked as a web developer in Washington, DC before her current incarnation as a wife, business-owner, mom, yogi, and Floridian. Katelyn and Jenny are kept constantly busy by their three-year old, Hank.
